Chu Chua Cottonwood Provincial Park This 100 ha (247 acre) park is a used as a conservation area and is an important habitat for nesting bats. Recreational activities are limited but visitors can canoe and kayak on the North Thompson River which runs through the park. Camping is not permitted. Address: 20 km (12.5 mi) north of Barriere adjacent to Hwy 5 Barriere BC

Momich Lakes Provincial Park Located on the northern portion of Adams Lake, the 1848 ha (4566 acre) Momich Lakes Provincial Park contains mostly undeveloped wilderness including a number of lakes. Popular activities include swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. There are three rustic campgrounds in the park but few facilities are provided. North Thompson Islands Provincial Park North Thompson Islands Provincial Park consists of floodplain islands within the North Thompson River as well as a forest made up of a variety of tree species including cottonwood, spruce and willow. There are no camping or day-use facilities but fishing for rainbow trout, salmon and Dolly Varden is still popular. Address: 14 km (8.9 mi) north of Barriere Barriere BC
