    Sugar Lake, located north of Cherryville, is 2080 ha. (5137 ac). Anglers may reel in Rainbow Trout (stocked), Dolly Varden and Kokanee. There are some accommodations near that lake, which include backcountry campsites and cabins, as well as a boat rental and launch site.
