The Interior Space and Science Centre
View optical illusions, learn about magnets, fossils and the forest, visit the planetarium and learn about the stars. Open Tue.-Sat. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. $5; youth, students and seniors $4, under three free; $3 for groups of eight or more. Planetarium show reservations required for large groups.

BIG Little Science Centre
Started in 2000, the BIG Little Science Centre operates more than 120 hands-on learning stations as well as two rooms featuring demonstrations and a teaching laboratory. The centre runs summer camps as well as regular summer drop-in hours and rates. Birthday party bookings are welcome.

Okanagan Science Centre
The Okanagan Science Centre offers a wide variety of unique, hands-on exhibits that are based on scientific principles. The centre is located close to downtown Vernon in an 1893 heritage school building. Displays feature astronomy, acoustics, optics, electricity, and magnetism. Displays also change periodically.
